Hypnosis is well known for it’s beneficial use in the smoking cessation arena. By enhancing a positive attitude it releases the need to smoke, releases the need for useless aids or substitutes and ultimately moves you forward, making that transition into a healthier, happier future as a non-smoker for good. Because smoking is a habit, it is controlled by the unconscious mind. Since hypnosis and NLP work directly with the unconscious, people commonly experience that cravings disappear, the cigarette becomes unimportant, and that the positive focus is on enjoying life as a non-smoker. This is why these techniques work – it makes sense! Most often, a single session is all that is required, and some like to have a second in reserve for simply for positive reinforcement!
